Policy Statement : Federal scholarships will be provided to Brampton residents enrolling in eligible STEM and trade programs.

Priority will be given to programs addressing labor shortages. Recipients must complete their education within the stipulated time frame or face repayment obligations.

  1. PurposeTo address labor shortages in STEM fields and skilled trades by encouraging local talent to pursue these careers through financial support.
  2. ScopeApplies to Brampton residents pursuing post-secondary education in STEM fields or skilled trades.
  3. Definitions
      STEM: Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
    1. Trade Programs: Vocational training and education leading to careers in skilled trades.
